These nikkas arguing about Mosley and don't even know Floyd was calling him out in '99 :snoop:

I stated a few pages back that it wasn't Floyd's fault that by the time Mosley did fight him he was :flabbynsick: but these nikkas have their capes on so tight they think everything is a slight at dude. :beli:

indeed breh...i was shaking my head at champ kw's posts...for a guy who claims its embarrassing to have discussions with boxing fans about floyd..his posts in here are all floyd related...im sure if you do a search on his handle you'll see that...floyd stans typically post things that make me roll my eyes..at least on a weekly basis...but that dude's posts are unique..the stupidest thing i ever read in this whole sub forum came from him...dude is a fan of floyd and floyd's business..not boxing..nothing more nothing less

He was asked who beats Floyd and he says a guy like Roberto Duran. Don't remember who exactly was interviewing him but I saw it, the regulars here can tell you I'm not the type to make up :duck:

you probably misheard that, you're crazy to think either one of them would say floyd would lose to anyone just off GP

Sr said the only who could possible beat him was Sugar Ray Robinson, that's the closest I've heard either one of them saying floyd would lose

This is the problem with dealing with the Floyd stans and their struggle knowledge you don't even know the timetables for the shyt you speak. :snoop:
bro u keep changing the argument:mjlol:
anyone who does research knows floyd was calling out mosley for a long time and mosley was ducking
the general public neither knows or cares about that
however in late 2000s,
the general public (the rugged man, brain kenny, etc) were saying he was ducking mosley
mosley said floyd was ducking him
and it caught on cause people hate floyd and he ducks everyone apparently
im just gonna leave it alone cause honestly, it wasnt even that long ago and you're really trying to change history:mjlol:
no one is saying mosley was in his undefeated prime when he fought floyd
im saying he was still pretty damn good and being were calling for the fight ans thought he had a chance after the cheato fight.
this was just 4 years ago where were u:mjlol:

The thing nikkas aint mentioning is this wasn't even that weak of an era in comparison to back in the day.. floydie just chose not to fight nikkas in their prime. nikkas are giving Floyd a pass for retiring instead of facing prime Cotto, Marg, Shane, Pwill, Sergio who was willing to drop to 154... Still refuses to fight Pac or Amir Khan, but then fights nikkas just for beating Andre Berto (who couldn't even beat Soto Karass bum ass) fights nikka who cant beat Devon Alexander or Amir Khan.. The fact that Canelo is his most respectable win in so many years since he beat a washed up Oscar says a whole lot
This is a very uninformed post and reeks of hate...maybe love? I don't know but calm down.

Everything, I said was factual... either you can refute it or not
No what you said pretends that fights are made in a vacuum and ignores all other facts other than "they didn't fight therefore it's Floyd's fault blah blah."

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2420382

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

Ellerbe said Mayweather opted for the buyout so he could be "more in control of when and who he fights next. It's as simple as that. There is nothing bad between Floyd and Bob."

That makes perfect sense so try not to pretend he was "avoiding."

Nothing in your post refutes anything I said... Floyd opted to not fight #1 contender Miguel Cotto, and retired for 2 years, returned came in against a guy coming up from 135 which he came in heavy against... In all that time he could've fought Cotto/Margs/Pwill/Mosely

Actually he did fight Cotto. Reason why it didn't occur earlier is because he was going to get raped financially, which he didn't want. Can't fault him. Like I said, your post reeks of some weird bitterness or love/hate.

Cotto was already out of his prime when Floyd fought him 4 years later. And he had took 2 serious beatings at the hands of Antonio Margarito and Manny Pacquiao (which in many people's opinion took his prime right out of him) before fighting Floyd.

Raped financially?? :ohhh: really?
Who you think you're fooling.breh??
Floyd turned down $7 million guaranteed and $8 million guaranteed plus ppv to fight Cotto or Marg, which obviously would've been more and forced Arum to cough up more bread after the fight with Oscar since his stock rose..
The fight didn't occur earlier because Floyd retired for two years. Whats a better excuse to duck a fighter than to announce your retirement?? Floyd could've fought Cotto, Shane, Marg, or Pwill in that time frame, but retired instead..

Arum said Floyd agreed to fight Margarito for $8m but wanted more to fight Hatton and Cotto (he was only offered $7m). A year later, he got $20m to fight Hatton.
