I think the shadow hand was an homage to Shadow of the Vampire.

That was a great scene. It made it seem like dude was missing time. One moment you're at the table the next you're near the fireplace. What happened?

Right that's true.

He was kinda a sucker for that but I get he wanted to have the big house like his homie and all that.
1). I like how they used his shadow...just wanted the shadow to be its own entity. But the shadow had reaching her over the town was dope.

2). Just hearing him (Count Orlock) walk was nerve stirring. Heavy ass boots. When he gave him the drink, Idda said fukk it. Let me return to the agency and we will be in touch. :hubie: Then when he cut himself with the knife, Orlock lost his shyt like me with black elbows.:hubie:im good Count....I'm getting back and have my people contact you.

3). Orlock fukked his wife too. Cause he was drinking no blood all night too. He was giving her undead strokes. She wasn't weak at the end from blood loss...she was orgasmed out. I know that look all too well. She was holding Orlock when he was dying. His wife cheated on him and fell in love with a demon lol:mjlol:

I really liked it. Some pacing issues but outside of that I enjoyed the film. First off the atmosphere, sets, costumes, score etc were really good. Eggers never cuts corners on that stuff and I'm glad he's been rewarded given how successful this film has been at the box office. I saw it last week and the theater was more than half full. Pretty long legs.

Nosferatu (1922) is the German version of Dracula. It was basically copied, with names changed. Dracula became Orlock, Jonathan Harker became Thomas Hutter, Van Helsing became Professor Bulwer, etc. So if you've seen any Dracula film or read the book you basically know the plot. And yet it does a pretty good job of telling a familiar story in an interesting way.

Biggest standout to me was Lilly Depp. She dominates the film from beginning to end. Very impressive performance.

This movie was exhausting and draining.
This fugly Depp nepo baby needs to go. Can't stand her acting and huge forehead.

Only big plus are the atmosphere and the vampire design.

The technical aspect of the movie is good but the story and most of the characters were forgettable. I hated how the "monster" looked with that damn hipster/williamsburg mustache.. foh.

The only interesting characters in the movie were Willem Dafoe and the Briitish dude with the Barry White voice. They were acting circles around all of younger actors despite having less to work with.

Its funny to see comments about a story that's been told hundreds of times :mjlol:

That's the fukking story. Y'all wanted him to change the story? Then that's just his own vampire movie. This is what Nosferatu is.

I thought this movie was incredible can’t believe people hate it. All the main cast have great performances and I was engrossed the entire time. The count was absolutely despicable and I was ecstatic when he died.
