Man fukk, losing Ingram sucks

I'm really hurt breh. Not only for Ingram production but he was the heart of the locker room. The first four games Saints swagger wasn't there. Once Mark returns, the Saints was having fun again.

This sucks. Murray is the same age Mark Ingram too. Signing him 4 years didn't make sense at all. :scust:

Nah... Saints try to lowball him. Wouldn't give him a raise.

fukking Loomis couldn't move around some contracts and open up some more milly more for Ingram.

Guarantee he would stay for 6 milly. Loomis :pacspit:
This one I just can't get mad at Loomis about. When you have a team as good as ours, everyone can't eat what they want.

Like the Patriots have shown, casualties have to happen when you're the big dog. And MT, Kamara, and Lattimore gonna want big plates soon.

Ever since the FA disaster of 2014... He refused to manipulate the cap after it crippled us for 2 years at around 60 million in dead cap.

Still how you gonna break the bank for Fleener, Browner, Lewis, Byrd, Spiller, and won't give Mark a damn raise. I don't like where we are heading. Team just feels complacent and overconfident after a 13 game season and getting screwed in the NFC championship, but this team struggled to win 6 out of our 13 wins. So, wtf is going on... We aren't this good to let someone like Ingram go for Murray(Who is a poor man Ingram with no leadership qualities) .

If you're gonna manipulate the cap. This is the team to do it with, but wtf... We haven't restructure any contracts. Just sitting on our laurels while the NFC haven't really improved, luckily.

Loomis could have cooked up front loaded contract and probably cut him after next season or 2. Ingram is a leader in the locker room and everybody loves him. If they really want to go after the SB, they should work some something out and give him an extra milly or two. What's really mad about is signing Murray, he's a lesser of Ingram at the same age. :wtf:

I agree with the complacency. With Ingram gone, I just can't see us challenging for a SB trophy. They feel like getting screw will drive them team next year.

I'm confused as what you guys mean by complacent. What moves do you really think we could have made this offseason?

We went all in last year. That left us with very little wiggle room for this year. NFLN reported we are trying to sign Ziggy Ansah. Is that complacent to you all?

Losing Ingram hurts. It sucks. And I ain't too impressed with Murray as his replacement. But I'm not mad at the team for having to put a hard cap on Mark. Esp with it seeming like Payton is all in on Teddy as the heir to Brees throne and is going to give him a good contract soon.

But Yall really dont realize how cash conscious we need to be. MT gonna want one of the biggest deals in WR history (I lowkey won't be surprised if he starts making a scene about a new contract this summer). Kamara gonna want his. Lattimore damn sure gonna want his. We can front load here and tweak there all we want, but the "negative" of having a loaded young roster is that that loaded young roster is going to want to get paid paid and get paid paid very soon.

That's what sucks about Jan 20 cuz we went all in last year with putting all our chips on the table to at least ensure one championship out this, and the NFL robbed us of that. Now we gotta hope we can somehow get back to the NFCCG and this time finish the deal. But we don't have the luxury of putting all our chips on the table anymore, we already did that last season.

The Ziggy news just came in. Gotta keep building depth.

Any news on Tyler Eifert?
