Lol if only it were that easy.
Actually.... We can turn Drew's Cap hit in to a 5 year voided extension. Instantly save about 25 million in cap space.

Already have 19 million in cap space.

Cut Coleman June 1st .. Save around 4 million..

Trade Peat( save $9 million) or extend him to a seviceable dealt hat tops at 6 million per year. Bring his cap hit down 3 million.

We can easily have around $51 million in cap space.

Trade next year 2nd for AB post June 1st(He can't be traded before June 1st) seems to be nominal asking price.

What we do with our 2nd comes down to a TE, OL, or CB in my honest opinion.

Fill out the rest with FA pieces.

Earl Thomas is a FA...
I see you want the big splash approach like the Rams did. Well that approach had the Rams one minute from being on the couch before a ref saved them.

We did the big splash approach before and it blew up in our face. We don’t need big names. Just solid contributors who can fill in missing pieces.

The talent of our team isn’t my worry though. I’m more concerned about, simply put, the intangibles: luck, injuries, and poor officiating (lololol)

A lot has to go right to set up a deep postseason run. To get a deep run three years in a row is almost unheard of unless you’re the Patriots. We gotta hope once again we survive the regular season with no major injuries, that luck rolls our way, and that we don’t get screwed by refs. THEN we gotta hope for that again in the playoffs. The odds are against us because this is the most parity driven league in the world. I hope we can finally reach the end of the rainbow next season, but I will not be surprised if our window was last season and this season and we didn’t capitalize; one season due to our own undoing with a missed tackle, the next due to a referee gifting our opponent a second life.

Ehhh... Only because of the draft capital situation. Coleman is gonna get cut. We need to fill the veteran safety spot. Earl Thomas coming off an injury. Value is low. Williams had a bad sophomore slump. I'd bring in Thomas on a 1-2 year deal.

It's not a big splash. Dead last defending the deep ball. It's a concern that we need to fix or hope Williams can recover from in year 3.

These nikkas stay bringing up excuses. Eagles had injuries too and went on a run. Falcons fans tucked they tail and plain ran. Lmao

I was in they team thread all December and it was silence. These dudes only come out when they front running or when they praying for us to fall off. Unlike them though we don’t go hiding when we take Ls. Don’t worry, they team thread will be collecting dust by November and they gonna again be in here in January praying we fall off.

Who Dat
Who Dat
Who Dat said dey not coming to Atlanta

AINT NO SUPER BOWL BIHHHHHH
I mean that's cool and all, but this team probably isn't going to implode in Brees retirement year. So, enjoy what you get because Saints are gonna be aggressive in the offseason and should be ready to blow the door off.

Shame on me for not accounting for a referee screwing us?

We had the game won. I don’t think of Tim Donaghy situations when predicting my team’s outlook.

NEVER underestimate what could happen in ANY Saints game, breh. EVER.

Fans did not think that the Saints would choke a 9-4 record and the inside track at the division title and 2nd seed by losing to THREE LAST-PLACE TEAMS and missing the playoffs.

Fans did not think that Carney would miss the extra point after the River City Relay.

Fans did not think that Alex Smith would all of a sudden turn into Joe Montana in the 4th Quarter after looking like Blake Bortles all game.

Fans did not think that the "Minneapolis Miracle" would occur.

That is why fans should have a :whoa: mindset and let things play out instead of being like :smugfavre: and :umad: when things are good, because in the end, it will usually backfire, and you'll end up looking like :snoop: and :mjcry:.

The Saints 2002 season taught me a harsh lesson about gettahead of myself :francis:, and I have learned from it ever since.

Look at the Funboys fans :dame: for reference whenever they experience a sliver of success and it ALWAYS blow up in their faces and they get cooked for it. :mjlol:
