Breh..he ain't lyin. I'm sorry man but the new turtles cartoon just from a quality standpoint, not talking nostalgia, but strictly quality, is a much much better show. The season finale of season 2 alone is something that turtles cartoon wouldn't even approach doing. One was made to sell toys, and that's for real. They designed the toys first then put the show out because kids wouldn't buy toys without some cartoon (that was the thinking) while the other was made to revive a franchise

So my son (who is 4 now) he watching this bullshyt ass new Ninja Turtles shyt
So Im like yo, you know we had Turtles first right? 80s shyt son, you dont know nothing bout that TMNT life
I download the first couple seasons, throw it on a flash stick and play it on the tv for him
this lil nikka looks at me like, "dad this shyt wack!"
My face was like
No he didnt!

He loves Muppet Babies though
He be singing the songs and shyt
But maaaaaaan, that shyt hurt my heart yo. He shytted on the Turtles yall!

he's kind of right I've been watching the og TMNT and the 03 remake with my son since he loves the new TMNT so much. (he's 2 like I said earlier)He actually likes the original turtles alot, but rewatching it I be like this show seemed alot better when I was a young bul, I'm actually alot more entertained by the 03 Turtles and new TMNT.......come on that old jawn we grew up on was great for nostalgia but was mad silly nikkas going for job interviews with hockey masks and suits on

Sorry breh . As soon as that 03 turtles cartoon came on I hit the and saw the light. That is still my favorite turtles cartoon and adaptation outside of the first movie. And it made me say "hm, the one I grew up on is cool but it ain't like this. this is what the turtles should be like." Hardcore with a good mix of humor and awesome characterization and not afraid to go dark at times and explore those themes.Then I tried watching the 80s turtles and I figured it was a memory best left alone because it's a tough sit and I'd like to preserve those memories. It's still fun but my taste has matured and the 03 cartoon ruined me

I was just chopping it up with my 7 year old the other day about this.

This whole situation is a travesty of the highest order.

I remember waking up at like 6 in the fukkin morning every Saturday to watch Toxic Crusaders!

Breh I loved He-Man as kid but when we had that blizzard back in February I watched He-Man with my son and stepdaughter I was like I used to like this, and I started noticings that He-Man was a flaming homo....I can still watch the OG Transformers (my favorite cartoon of all) and be entertained and them disney jawns like Chip and Dale,Darkwing,Ducktales etc
