I remember when the new season started they used to have the premier show on that friday night... cbs, nbc, abc ... then fox moved in and then the cw ...

zorro, lone ranger, godzilla, pacman, shazam (not captain marvel), speed buggy, i can go on ..... its a sad day

I miss quality cartoons airing on prime time Fridays

Or the new season of your favorite toon getting shine from actors on TV

Now, kids have is Cartoons Network, Nick, and Disney XD. I miss toons in the weekdays and on Saturdays. It seems like the powers that be want to destroy the old school way of life and want kids to be something...different. Like little adults and skipping childhood.

Word. Shyt used to fukk me up if I missed even one of my shows. I remember when ABC cancelled Sonic and it was just gone. I woke up one morning, it didn't come on. Threw my entire weekend off. The beauty about it now though is we can still watch this stuff either through torrents or DVD or streaming. A show that I loved as a kid, Sonic, I now own every episode on DVD and I can watch it on Netflix anytime I want, which is something unfathomable to me as an 8 year old

I remembered that back in Fall of 1995. When Sonic was cancelled, I was for like a month straight.

ever since that shyt went down there hasnt been 1 action orientated cartoon aimed at teens or older that wasnt dc/marvel related.And the dc/marvel shows could only manage a season or 2 tops..Its like someone made the decision that we need to get rid of violent cartoons and sissify our children

I also noticed that there aren't any "stay away from drugs" promotions nowadays. Or even an educational advice from cartoons anymore.
