RIP to Mandela. He still had some good qualities.

But people don't want to hear the truth about this breh. He was given power so that he can be used to control the black masses that wanted revenge and for cacs be kicked out of their native land. He may not have understood the chess move that cacs were playing. This is what happens when blacks lose site of your dignity for sake of white acceptance. These cacs committed all kinds of atrocies and they did not go to jail. I am still waiting for a white man to take the high road like we are expected too.

Out of respect for the dead I did not want to express this here, but it's absolutely the truth.

Mandela ended apartheid, but he ultimately tied his people to white supremacy and dependence forever.

Regardless, RIP. He did a lot for black people.

This morning....Young cac colleague at work;
*Whispers* Why are people applauding a terorrist?.... we all turn away from the Telly unison & hit him with the :camby::childplease::birdman: expressions... little runt bounces out the kitchen looking like a wet moist flannel....smh!

Also my my boy told me a really ignorant story last night ....he works at a retail store in the city centre & a young twenty something Asian lad came in & saw he had the BBC on & the oriental lad asks my boy why they were making such a big deal over him dying???

My boy- "Do you even know who Mandela is?"

The Kid goes - "Not really, but yeah I've heard of him"

My boy - "He was one of the greatest men ever"
Ignorant kid - "I don't see the big deal here, it's not like he was Paul Walker" :wtf:

And then he proceeded to get into a 2 minute conversation with another customer about TFAF movies.... My boy goes a part of him wanted to punch him in the face over the counter & part of him wanted to cry because this is how a lot of the younger generation thinks........ :snoop:

Wtf? He wasn't "given" power. The writing was on the wall and we were on the brink of a civil war that could have allowed us to get revenge but unfortunately would have set the country back many more years.
He could have pulled what Mugabe did a few years ago after prison but look at what that has done to Zimbabwe, one of the most advanced places in Sub-Sahran Africa. Mzansi being a full blown war zone was never going to benefit anybody

Valid point... but to some degree you gotta admit from a general perspective
that Ignorance is inversely proportional to Age.

The youth of today have me seriously feeling better about how bad my past antics were as a youngster.... coz in comparison... shyte I did was mild & tame to what these lot get upto these days!

I clicked on this thread expecting idiocy like what you quoted. The apartheid regime was falling apart under international sanctions and mass civil resistance. To say Mandela or the ANC was given anything is the height of idiocy. Up till the early 90s he was still described by apartheid regime and it's supporters as an extremist. They spent tons trying to push actual collaborators like Buthulezi as the real face of black leadership. Mandela never rejected armed struggle and never turned his back on international leaders who supported anti apartheid movement no matter how unpopular they were in the West. Nothing about his history can be described as "safe".
