I'm not a reader but my pops forced me to read his biography back in high school
Dude did 27years of prison :wow:
Back in Jamaica he is praised even name a highway after him ... Back in the 90s he came there when he and they threw a week long party for him ... He said to this day he has never been to a place where he was worshiped and appreciated like that.. He represents so much not only for blacks.. But for political systems around the world as a whole...it pisses me off reading comments over the years by whites who don't understand or know what's going on and bashing him calling him a nobody etc... They don't want any man of color to get credit or praise because its a threat ... A black man of stature or power is their worst nightmare

RIP to Mandela. He still had some good qualities.

But people don't want to hear the truth about this breh. He was given power so that he can be used to control the black masses that wanted revenge and for cacs be kicked out of their native land. He may not have understood the chess move that cacs were playing. This is what happens when blacks lose site of your dignity for sake of white acceptance. These cacs committed all kinds of atrocies and they did not go to jail. I am still waiting for a white man to take the high road like we are expected too.

"This name Mandela is an albatross around the necks of my family. You all must realise that Mandela was not the only man who suffered. There were many others, hundreds who languished in prison and died. Many unsung and unknown heroes of the struggle, and there were others in the leadership too, like poor Steve Biko, who died of the beatings, horribly all alone. Mandela did go to prison and he went in there as a burning young revolutionary. But look what came out," she said, looking to the writer. - Winnie Mandela

"Mandela let us down. He agreed to a bad deal for the blacks. Economically, we are still on the outside. The economy is very much 'white'. It has a few token blacks, but so many who gave their life in the struggle have died unrewarded." - Winnie Mandela

'I cannot forgive him for going to receive the Nobel with his jailer de Klerk. Hand in hand they went. Do you think de Klerk released him from the goodness of his heart?

'He had to. The times dictated it, the world had changed
.' - Winnie Mandela
