Our ILB still :flabbynsick: as shyt

Hopefully we get some formations this year that have Burnett playing inside the box now with Jones and Ha Ha in the back.

I think that's the primary plan on defense. Look for Morgan to play the cover MLB role in every long passing situation. Which means it won't be out of the ordinary to see the packers take the field with 7 dbs.

Look y'all @tru_m.a.c making excuses.

No ilb again which puts mad pressure on young corners .

Same old story fukk ted .

Keep wasting prime Aaron brehs .

At the very least, the very least, you're entering the year with no question marks in the secondary. I'll take that.

Man fukk TT. This defense won't be any better then 20th in the league and will get shytted on any competent qb and offense. How u expect me to get hype off draft picks when most his drafts suck? Bunch of jag ass players playing in dom capers fossil scheme. Any GM who thinks a wr is your #1 option at rb is a retard. I don't care what people say about today's passing game and how rb's are a dime a dozen. We ain't have a legit run game since fat ass lacy was healthy in 2013.

I feel you on the explosiveness of dalvin cook, but I feel that would've been a luxury pick, and we're not in a position of luxury. On paper, we really don't look terrible on offense. Remember we played all season without lacy, Ty and Michaels showed they had skills, so rb wasn't a need like it was when we were trying to shift away from ryan grant.

Right now, our cb depth chart looks like:
1) House
2) King
3) Gunter (Don't sleep man. Yes Gunter got burned, but that boy showed up to play every week. He has heart man!)
4) Randall
5) Rollins

and that's just at cb :takedat:....I'm excited

Cause behind them we have Morgan (who will be injured a quarter of the year), HaHa, and Jones. :takedat:

Believe it or not, our secondary depth, on paper, looks like one of the best in the NFC.

Edit: And for me, this is what makes the King pick the best pick in our draft. It's not even a question if he's a day 1 starter. Adding him to that depth chart takes the backfield from a C to an automatic B once you shift everyone down a spot. Then when you realize we still picked up a Micah Hyde type player....:takedat:...I'm finally excited about the year again.
Man we thought the same shyt last year before shields Injury and look how wrong we were. Matter of fact our d line was better then our secondary and that was our weak spot. This defense will be trash again

The holes on defense became more glaring after Sam Shields went down.

I take back my earlier statement. We won't have one of the best defenses on paper in the NFC. However, I think people will be able to take solace in the idea of our defensive backfield getting some turnovers.

If bytch ass Rollins and Randall can go back to the potential they shown as rookies then our secondary would be solid. But those two fell the fukk off Injuries or not. I don't wish failure on them but their sophomore year was about as bad as watching Jarrett Bush.

Clay needs to be at ILB full time. Period.
Clay is trash as well. His hammy has hampered him for years and he over shoots the qb making his only skill useless against qbs who can step up to the pocket. Maybe calling him trash is a bit harsh but he has lost a step and seeing as he's the only LB worth a damn on this team, it pretty much fukk us as having no LBs in a 3-4 Defense makes the whole scheme useless

I'm not disputing this. But I think they'd be fine at the 4 and 5 spot - respectively.

I'll go ahead and predict pretty confidently that barring more injuries, at least one if not both of Rollins and Randall will bounce back just like Adams did this past season.

And I really think this offense is poised to go back to 2014 levels.

I'm actually very optimistic about the coming season overall.

:ohhh: Biegel has identical combine numbers to Clay

Running back-heavy Packers release Michael

On Monday, the Packers released veteran Christine Michael, who was claimed off waivers last season and then re-signed in March. They also released Don Jackson, an undrafted free agent last year who was elevated from the practice squad midway through last season.
