One thing I noticed rewatching 98 WCW this summer, was how much he put over Goldberg. He would joke around alot throughout the night, but when Goldberg came out Heenan was really into it and putting Goldberg over like an actual champion of fighting of the world. It really made Goldberg seem like a big deal and helped his presentation imo.

Oh yeah he put him over, the title, the importance, the dominance, and the undefeated streak more than anyone. Pressed the fact he was the first undefeated WCW Heavyweight champion..it' slick stuff like that an educated viewer can listen and say "He's not a fake Austin because he never loses and wins in 1/3 of the time". Selling points. Great presentations like that you don't hear anymore except for when Bryan comments on things. Sad.

Still remember as a kid a fan punched Bobby dead in the face and knocked him down. And no it wasn't stage. He was the greatest villian commentator to me. Everybody else is just a poor imitation

RIP to arguably the greatest manager of all time and without a doubt the greatest heel announcer of all time. He was suffering for a minute but this makes me sad, RIP Bobby

Bobby told us in the 80's all the way back when they was in AWA that Hogan was no good, Hogan was dirty and a cheater and us Humanoids was fools, when they was in the WWF Heenan was trying to tell us, even when Hogan was lusting for Elizabeth.

But he finally got his just do in WCW when Hogan turned heel. The Brain was like see all I told y'all all these years Hogan is a fraud, he's dirty, you humanoids now see I was right
