Nah, with Rihanna's shyt they had Samsung buy it, but then gave people the option to go download it for free. (billboard did not like Jay's way even though the RIAA certified it). Unlike U2, which was just installed on your iPhone. The result is that it counts because the consumer wanted it. It was very clever. Then the Deluxe version of the album drops today on iTunes while streaming exclusively on Tidal and she gets two back to back weeks of huge sales. Same thing Jay did. He sold ANOTHER 1.2 million off of everyone who had an iPhone instead of Samsung. I was flabbergasted, like "You guys realized he just bootlegged his own album, and y'all still buying it?" She won.
