Why aren't y'all realizing some brands do well by doing what they're supposed to do - provide competent athletic gear. Everything ain't about casual fashion. My best running shoes are asics, yea nikes may be cuter but they don't perform.

And these corny kids buying his shoe are the best demographic as they are where you want to start building brand awareness and loyalty, ain't nobody worried bout converting 40 year old nikkas.

asics got some of the goat runners

Dudes in here are arguing different points, so both sides are technically right...

Currys are very popular among young hoopers...But it's for on court performance only..When they go to the movies, mall or club it's LeBrons or J's...Nobody is gonna go on their first date wearing Under Armour.. It's pretty much used as equipment and not for fashion like Nike..

one Nike official accidentally addressing Stephen as "Steph-on," the moniker, of course, of Steve Urkel's alter ego in Family Matters. "I heard some people pronounce his name wrong before," says Dell Curry. "I wasn't surprised. I was surprised that I didn't get a correction."

It got worse from there. A PowerPoint slide featured Kevin Durant's name, presumably left on by accident, presumably residue from repurposed materials. "I stopped paying attention after that," Dell says. Though Dell resolved to "keep a poker face," throughout the entirety of the pitch, the decision to leave Nike was in the works.

let's be honest, these Curry 2's are just Nike Hyperdunks from like 2011 wit an Under Armour logo...:mjlol:
you realize there is a whole world out there? not everyone can afford $150 lebrons... not in america.. damn sure not in the world

no... nikkaS aren't wearing these... i have yet to see a pair on any friend that i've ever had, including facebook pics and the like

but the numbers prove somebody is buying them shyts... and money is money so i'd gladly promote my ugly ass sneaker for tens of millions of dollars and a rise in my ownership stakes

baby, that was the old me
See this is why if you worked for Nike, I'd call you a retard.

This isn't about the present, this is about the future.

You and I see Nike for what it is because we grew up with a non-stop barrage of marketing from Nike and Jordan products.

Guess what?

Your kids and my kids may very well look at LeBron sneakers and Kobe sneakers as old, nobody-gives-a-fukk-anymore joints.

When I go to the gym I see young kids wearing Under Armour shirts and wearing Curry sneakers, not LeBrons or Kobes.

Under Armour has Curry, Jordan Spieth, and a whole host of new markets lined up that will own the future. I guarantee you Curry's basketball brand will undoubtedly be what Jordan was to Nike in the distant future. Maybe not as a lifestyle brand, but as a sports brand, I am more than confident Under Armour is going to be what Nike is considered now.

The 215
Have you seen the LeBron 12s and 13s?
Hideous :scust:

Way more people are buying UA Currys than LeBrons. UA Currys sell out. Nobody is scooping up LeBron's last couple shoes and flipping em for money.
The 13's are ugly but the 12's nikka you on that spice. Maybe little kids copping currys but all the cats from teenager on up I see balling are mostly in nike stuff with the occasional Adidas gear. I've saw a few UA sneaks but nothing like nike and AdidasAdidas

people really wearing those bulky clunky lebrons casually? :scusthov:

LeThot next shoe is going to be a stiletto heel for the soft ass way he carries himself on twitter. I dont know how any self respecting man could rock those, might as well have fur on the top..
