Again. You determine a good director based on shyt that I don’t breh. We’re having two different conversations. You’re going into each and everything that has nothing to do with good directing. Nothing at all. You’re talking about story choices. You’re talking about marketing. You’re talking about merchandising.
And no breh lol I’m not a refuge from the spot. I’d rather talk movies here than music because music discussions here get lost and turn into other shyt. I got plenty of other avenues and other people to talk music with and plenty of places to write about music. I’m good with that so miss me with that shyt but don’t insult my hip hop intelligence duke. Just like in music where sales and commerce don’t always equate to greatness the same can be said for movies. If you can’t handle that simple ass analogy then I don’t know what to tell you
nikka you are the one trying to take star wars out of its intended genre and into hiphop erroneously.
Which is so offkey and overthought.
You have to got to other arenas and take your ball and go home.
Simply because you don't know the culture like that and you know I know you do not. To the point that you would deflect on the culture of hiphop to get away from the scope of what star wars is and not hold risk Johnson accountable just for your personal like of his work. Of which if you want to culturally have that convo in a cultural setting you never see me do.
So spare me your bullshyt.
You like Rian Johnson but he is a shyt director cause he can not do star wars. Plus if we take into account the movie he did when he was awarded star wars and the reviews for that. It exposes him even more as a shyt director. As he can not even come up with a great project amidst his star wars credits to capitalize on the bonfire burning ship he made of star wars. So he could get off and possible have another project to act as a quality buffer in a genre of his own choosing. Instead, he fukked that up too.
Now miss me with your bullshyt sideline up high down low high fives to others. Just because they got clowned in the past for the same bullshyt you doing here. Trying to move star wars into a hiphop context talking point when star wars existed in a space before we all knew wtf hiphop or slavery or racism was.
Just stop.
Star wars is all about children.
You miss that just like you miss the difference simply between genres and culture and movies that are not inter-related at all.
I hope you argue for finn's black arc getting some semblance of care for all this bullshyt you talking. Yet you in here parading for Rian Johnson like you like his treatment of Finn and star wars. So how are you pulling this cultural bs when Johnson just clowned Finn for a whole movie like a buffoon. Yet you glossing over that to talk about hiphop and negate star wars intended audience.
You are on complete bullshyt.
