I just reserved my tickets for tomorrow online, and I decided to check how it was doing against The Walk (which pushed this out of IMAX ahead of its official release date because of some bullshyt theater deal) and if advance reservations are anything to go by, this is completely killing The Walk.
Don't see how you're surprised breh this movie got the best promotion from NASAs announcement this week plus its a wide release vs imax only.

Prometheus was fecal waste. Scott will never see another fukking dollar from me. 
I enjoyed it brehs.
Had some cheesy 90s movie moments (the cheering) but it was immensely entertaining and damon was great. I wanted more damon actually.
That last act had wifey squeezing my hand at the suspense. We were both like
Its definitely way lighter in tone than all the other space dramas.
The 3D was awesome. It was maybe a little too long and kinda dragged in middle but I still really enjoyed it. Good, but not great. Will preorder the blu-ray.
Ps seeing the new Revenant trailer before the movie was
