trailer sucks. it made the premise seem boring. that $100M does not show up on screen according to the trailer. this could have been the talking scenes of game of thrones for the cost of an episode.

i cant remember the last time i liked a ridley movie. that is sad.

The Traps of Unified Korea
Damon and Afleck were bad casts for message/marketing purposes. The prestige period drama audience is not here for Matt Damon. He also just got cancelled very recently.

Critics love it though. I'm sure I'll check it out when it hits streaming.

Interstellar?

The newest Jason Bourne was trash, that’s probably why he thought you meant the Bourne identity movies. He was also in interstellar though obv wasn’t the star
He wasn’t the star in Interstellar, and wasn’t even on the promotional advertisements.

Interstellar also came out in 2014, before Jason Bourne.

You’re right. But he had The Great Wall right after Bourne.
The Great Wall was a Chinese movie and I dont think it made 100 million in the US.

It was also a flop considering the production costs.

I’m just saying when Will Smith had this bad run, he was shifted on for a while. Matt Damon hasn’t starred in a hit movie since 2016, and that movie was part of a franchise, and people pretending it isn’t happening.
