Facts. Lets be real, 50 blew up as big as he did cuz of the Shady/Aftermath connection and cosign, which also put the same machine backing Eminem behind him. Along with the fact that the streets cosigned him also, there was no way he couldnt blow up as he did. But of course, gangsta rap is nowhere near as big as it was in those times so the game has long passed him by musically. We all saw the shift when he put that Curtis album up against Kanyes Graduation...So was Vanilla Ice but you're not out here singing his praise..
50 was all hype, a good marketing ploy by the industry based off of him being marketed as some hood superman with bullet proof skin.
Hence the reason none of those people who bought The Masacre would be caught dead playing 50 today.
Pac and Big have outlasted 50 by far and have more solid legacies..50 now reduced to the mad rapper on Twitter Insta.
