Admittedly I don't know much about the guy but those self-help books then to be scams though. No smart rich person is going to reveal the exact details of how they became rich.

if ive made all the money there is to be made and ive got enough money for several lifetimes, i dont see why i wouldn't write a book to help the next man. i wont put all the details in it, but enough to help anyone who understands the importance of money, not these idiots who go around talking bout "money doesn't buy happiness"

funny thing is...there are plenty of books that will teach you how to get money. People just dont want to work.
There are even internet forums dedicated to business where there are people w/ too much time on their hands (they may have made their money already and are between investments) giving out advice.

Personally I'm not a big fan of altruism. I won't help anyone unless I can get something in return (i.e.: profit from book sales, helping an attractive girl, helping someone whose business you may invest in). This may sound sinister but this is exactly how many people operate.
