Teams create full game plans to stop Giannis. Pip was a secondary focus, DISTANT secondary focus.

Teams create gameplans for any star player, which usually just means a zone which wasn't even allowed in the 90s.

No he wasn’t :mjlol:
Giannis has two moves. Bull rush the rim and Eurostep and bull rush the rim and spin. Both look terrible in the half court. When the other defense is set his only adjustment is literally taking two steps back so he can build up momentum for his only two moves. fukk outta here.

Above the fray.
What make it even cornier is Pippen is a top 50 player all time, a 6 time champ, and a HOF who if not for his addition we don't know where mj would. People use his name to discredit player on said team. When Pippen done had a better career then damn near everyone's favorite player smh
I like Pippen's game, but he never had to do the heavy lifting or faced the pressure of being blamed when the team loses. Can't compare him to a lead player.

For all the accolades he earned and playoff experience he had, when the Blazers collapsed against the Lakers he vanished, and missed a big time shot under pressure.

And its not stopped.

Meanwhile, Pippen wasn't a good half-court scorer. We all watched it. Stop re-writing history. Pippen was even more limited because he's smaller. Stop being stupid.

@#1 pick is right

We saw what the Warriors did when they didn’t have Kerr while Luke fukkin Walton was their coach. They go on to make history.

Bud turns shyt into sugar. He led the Hawks to 60 wins with no superstar.

But I will say he needs to do better in the postseason.

I hear what you and @#1 pick are saying, but I'll take the coach with the 3 rings (as a coach) and 5 trips to the finals over the past 5 years. No slight to Bud at all...Call me a homer...

Pippen didn't shoot over 32% from three till year 6 on 2.7 threes per game. Breh, stop it. I know nostalgia is the way of life on this site but ya'll really look like idiots in overaction threads like this.
Act like with today’s technology and training pippen wouldn’t b more improved

He is the perfect coach for great personnel grouping and I would prefer him over Bud for the Bucks if they added CP3 or a lead inciator but if you put him on 29 teams and Bud on 29 teams, Bud would do much better for 26 teams.

Phil Jackson is considered the GOAT but would get fired if he coached the pre-KG T'Wolves in two seasons.
