:mjlol: shook of some internet dweebs get the fukk out of here

If you want to keep going we can keep going. Like I said ya conveniently dictating when hip hop was born when the name hip hop itself wasn't even created or attached to the culture until 78-79

Latinos in NYC been involved in the culture since day 1, my opinion on that isn't changing

Not defending dude, I’ll get to chastising soon but hip hop was officially founded ‘78-‘79 everything else was it still building up to that. However what I said in that thread which I’ll remix here is that rapping, making music is the only relevant element to hip hop so all black artists are the sole reason hip hop is the way it is today. Latinos wouldn’t have done this on their own. It’s equivalent to being in a play and the people who set the stage say they were ones who did the great performance on stage knowing damn well they were behind the scenes at best.
You are reaching. There’s too much evidence pulling contradicting you. If not for the development from ‘71 till ‘77 there would not have been a record in ‘78/‘79. That’s common sense. They gave what they did for many years a name in ‘78/‘79 and called it Hip Hop. It was small and something select. The outside world didn’t know it was called what they named it. Even in the late ‘80s we had to explain it to people, because people called it “that thing” y’all do.

You simply try to skew the timeline to make it fit your narrative. But it’s a lie!

the culture came before the name

The Latino pioneers gave their dates of entry into the game and none are before 1975; therefore, they wasn't there from the start (1970):yeshrug:

If people who were actually there are saying no there was no Latinos there in the early stages. Give us 1, just 1 good reason to take what you say is serious? And even the Puerto Ricans who was there are Afro-Puerto Ricans and have spoken out.

If what you say is true, what would the influence have been, by a people who barely spoke English and had a different culture.
