kinda have mixed feelings. if dude had come off, everyone would have said he was a wuss. that in his first playoff game, he should have showed heart. remember jay cutler. well he did, and it backfired. now everyone is sayng he should have been smart. hypocrites. personally, i wish he would have come off, but football fans for the most part are illogical and would have hated on him. i wish him the best and hope his career aint damaged.

Yea, you can;t blame the guy for wanting to battle until the very end.

Shanahan should have cut him off at some point though, he is the great player and leader of that team, but there was a clear point where he had nothing left and it was before that botched snap.

Yes, if they keep running that gimmick offense he`ll be run into the ground.

Everyone wants to think it's the wave of the future, but this shyt is going to get QB's killed unless they're really built for it.

He probably tore his MCL on the botched snap, he should be 100% for next season. The Shanahans are going to have to protect him by having him play more in the pocket and that means they need to fix the right side of their offensive line. The option stuff masked some of their issues there. Griffin also has to be coached up because he is pretty reckless with his body. Lorenzo Alexander was saying last night he wants him to only run as a safety valve. And thats one of their captains saying that.

That can be said about any NFL player.

Of course but were talking about a qb who takes vicious hits and isnt that big, with the size of defensive players today thats a recipe for disaester

Theyres a reason guys like Vick are breaking down in their early 30's and Brady and Peyton are still beasting in their late 30's u cant take all these hits from these defensive players in todays game

I'm not an expert on football by any means, but are you saying because more mobility/running for gains is expected out of the QB in this type of system that he's more of a target for defenses?

I'm just trying to figure out why the pistol keeps being labeled as a "gimmick". I don't know jack shyt about football so enlighten rather than ether me, b.

Most Qbs break down in their early 30s. We're seeing it with Big Ben and others. Peyton just survived a major neck injury. Even he couldnt' avoid almost being knocked out of the game.

It's a receipe for disaster standing in the pocket as much as it is running outside of it. I just don't get why the media isn't honest about it.

If RGIII sat out, he'd get the same shyt storm Jay Cutler got a few years ago for sitting out while being injured.

There's no win/win in this scenario. He was able to play, played his heart out and got injured :manny:

Its different Brady had a injury that could happen to anyone and Peyton got injured after 15 years in the league of being completely healthy

Players like Vick and RG3 take hits that accumulate over the years and wear you down after a certain amount of years
