Why the prevalent use of the word "fired"? Is this some Trump sht?

ESPN never uses the word fired, even in cases where someone is let go due to behavior.

look like its gonna happen

He’s becoming insufferable. The only regular show I watch is the Get Up and he used to be good. A rare straight forward legit sports brain without the fukkery

But clearly ESPN is desperate and instructs their talent to stir the pot. So now this ngga is the worst. Every minor sports take he hypes it up like a fukking carnival showman.

He's the average American yt guy in terms of appearance, for one . And he's super safe with his takes.

That's the appeal.
When you consider how a lot of talent have gotten themselves in trouble over the years with their takes on forms of social media, that's actually not a bad thing.

He flopped and failed miserably years ago when he tried making the jump from sports, so he's essentially going to be an ESPN lifer as there's no where else for him to go.

He's ruined Get Up with his Jets stannery. Him and Bart Scott can both go drink bleach

Yeah it's a mixed bag.

Hot takes get some ppl fame, and some ppl get in trouble.

I'm sure he makes $7-8 mil a year at espn and probably more now if he's hosting nfl shows. He's doing more than good considering how vanilla and safe he is

ESPN is blockbuster

They just don’t know how to adjust the right way to change and their programming across the board is terrible as fukk

College Football season is their best programming

They kind of abandoned baseball and hockey personalities.. their NBA countdown and nba daily crew is bad
The problem is that they adjusted when they didn't have to. Go watch old ESPN shows from before the "hot take era" started dominating sports media, it was quality television with humor mixed in. The reason ESPN is dying now is because it's all about personalities and less about sports. Reverting back to even the mid 2000s would do wonders for them.

I mean that’s what the people want or else ESPN or other outlets wouldn’t be continuing down that path.
