The problem is that this country takes things meant for poor people and put a premium on it. ADHD kids need engagement, Montessori style learning, and PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CHALLENGES. Alot of these things are implemented in private schools but were created for everyone. Especially if you’re Black and in a bad environment, your body is craving dopamine and release. You are being bombarded with negative energy and taking it in, you have to find a way to get it out.

Gotta focus that negative energy or it effects everyone negatively. You got these private schools enforcing physical activity as a pedagogy because they see it. This is why the Judo founder wanted it as a pedagogy in schools. This is why all American old heads from all races are into martial arts. You have to take all that restless energy and put it through engagement, especially if you are a marginalized class of people. And then putting constant pressure on these kids as a parent to perform these tasks. If you have adhd, you do some of your best work at the last minute because that one inevitably is looking at you. The parents have to be on the kids if performance isn’t up to par. That’s what Asian parents do, adhd or not. You as the parent are the inevitability. Children have to have support, adhd or not.
