sparano's offense isnt necessarily that much different from the 49ers offense. we just have bit more creative formations on runs, etc.

we just have way better skill players (and for most part, oline) at this point

looking at jets roster at WR, QB, TE and RB...I dont even see Martz or McDaniels being able to install any kind of amazing pass game. best bet is to have a conservative efficient playcalling...ie, sparano in miami :manny:

Coaches have to manage the personnel allotted to them by management. Keeping Sanchez in for so long was a bad personnel move on his part. You see what Fox did in Denver with Orton when shyt was going bad. Sometimes even if you think the second option is worst, you have to at least try to mix it up. You can't keep doing the same ineffective shyt week after week and hoping for different results but that is exactly what Rex did.

Also making Santonio Holmes a capatain, that was a pretty bad move.

Treating Shonne Greene like a true #1 back who can carry a team is mismanagement as well.

But the worst like you noted, was sticking with Sanchez. The stubborn support of Sanchez, the timidness to hurt Sanchez' feelings. Like you said even if you think the other option is worse you have to go off results, and results were obviously telling you Sanchez was horrendous all year long.

Manish is making shyt up again

That's why it's tough to credit the report.

Born2BeKing had some good points though about how some of the moves Rexy was making were questionable and kinda lend credit to the idea of trying to get himself fired.

Like how Tebow was Woody's guy, and he 100% would never put Tebow in no matter what

The Jets need a QB

Youre not winning the Super Bowl with a Sporano offense.

Nah, what's stopping Rex from being a good coach can be boiled down to 2 things.

- Mismanagement of players
- Lack of any offensive knowledge

also the fact that all he does is gas his players up and never holds them accountable

Yeah, that is another one of his big issues. Everyone is the best player in the league, he`ll tell you that. Every move is genius.

The guarantees and shyt hurt him too, because in the long run when you run your mouth and you stop producing, it's a much bigger let down.

He may be better off as a defensive coordinator but the guy was one game away from the Super Bowl his first two years. He was obviously doing something right. But i do think he needs to bring it a offensive guru to help him out if he stays as the coach.

These leaks have been accurate. This is Rex or Pettine leaking this info...pretty obvious

Manish has a history of making up sources.

I'm not buying anything coming from him.

If a coach felt that way, you'd see quit in the team which I haven't seen.

Ok and these personnel moves fall on Rex.

He wanted Sanchez. He wanted Holmes. He wanted the terminator.....Rex doesnt think through the moves on offense and is suffocating the team with his refusal to become more flexible on that side of the ball

Like I said he tied his ship to Sanchez the first two years when better QB play probably has the Jets playing for a SB

Someone on WFAN made a good point, them first 2 years still had the remnants of Mangini's offense running.
