When you clean out coaches and brign in a whole new regime it takes a few years just to get that coaches players and sytem to work and thats IF the coach is worth shyt if not then your franchise is set back even further so unless a big time coach is coming here take it easy with just wantign Rex out of here just for the sake of it.Be careful what you wish for sometimes

They went 12-4, division title, 2 seed and a bye.

Anyone with a clue knows that 1998 team was legit. The Jets turned the ball over in the title game a ton. VInny didnt have a good game. They lost.

Put that team against any of those Rex teams and the 98 team is favored by at least a touchdown.

This year? I think its abundantly clear Rex is too unstable to be a HC. He cried again today...thats like the 8th time.

The personnel was better the first two years

They also played a weaker schedule those two years aswell. Not as significant a factor as the personnel but beating on the Dolphins and Bills with the occasional Browns on the schedule will do wonders for your win-loss record.
