I think sometimes you overemphasize the QB, but for the majority you're on point.
I don't think it's impossible to win without a great QB, you can with in with a good one with a great team, but when you look at sustained success in the league usually you`ll see a franchise type QB.
Like people don't feel him like that, but look at what Andy Dalton has done for the Bengals.

seattle was already a good team. they got wagner in the draft and wilson was the finishing piece on almost complete team. the only big thing they lack is a legit #1 WR and maybe some run defense up the middle. thats it

I really don't think you can overemphasize the importance of QB's... Especially in the playoffs(look at the winning percentage when your QB doesnt throw a pick)Sanchez is just not that guy though
