I think we're looking back on those Sam Rami films with a bit of nostalgia

They were'nt very good but they were tolerable for their time

Them shyts aged like milk in the Sahara and TBH I thought they were overrated and poorly cast

Kristen Dunst is an AWFUL Mary Jane too BTW...there are extras in the movies that were hotter than her, go ahead, check

1 & 2 are flames... watched part 1 again a couple months ago. Green Goblin is a dope villain. Menacing.. all the acting is on point. They feel as a real family from the suburbs.

Right?! Although as a Peter fanatic I’ll push back on the inexplicably part lol. But yeah it’s Pete and MJ with better chemistry and better characters. The only thing eric wasn’t was a genius.

Cast him in those movies and I know I feel different about them.

This is a lie.
This is the real issue you have with the film you were never on board with it from jump street. William Dafoes quotables and performance still holds up. Spidey vs Doc Ock fights 1 and 2 are STILL fireI'll give Homecoming Toombs and the prom scene but that movie in general will not age as gracefully as you believe. Some of the cgi and adding run time scenes like Spider-Man trapped at the Shield/Damage control base was dumb as hell

Lol that makes no sense. My opinion on a character is disqualified because I love that character? But wouldn’t that mean I have at least a good understanding of what that character should do how he should roll and what doesn’t work for him?
