I just hope he said it's for the rest of the year, or he is now our starting QB so that we don't have to go through this sideshow every week.
It's gonna be sad to watch Alex with the sour face for the rest of the season.
He needs to be a champ now and suck it up and help this kid out at all costs.

If Kaep struggled last game, it would have been one thing, but he did a good job again.
Wish Kaep the best, but this spells the end for Smith. I still don't think he deserved to lose his job over an injury especially he was playing well before he got hurt.
I hope Kaep stays healthy because IMO Alex is going to check out now that he's not playing. I hope i'm wrong

Well it was nice knowing you Alex. I'm gonna be reality, I think that Harbaugh sacrificed this season for a decade of success down the road, but who knows Kaep could lead us to a Super Bowl. I'm a little afraid that we're going to have another Troy Smith situation on our hands, though.
I would of been comfortable with the decision either way because Harbaugh knows what he's doing but I hope this doesn't cause any turmoil in the locker room from the clip I just heard it sounds like he's still massaging Alex's ego in case he has to go back to him
I dont think he sacrificed because the production could be duplicated I think, besides nobody thought troy was a long term solution.

I didn't think so, but I remember fans at the time being impressed by his athleticsm and poise in the games and it went south quickly though I think Kaeps ceiling is much much higher and he was going to be a starter eventually anyway, but if something happens to Kaep, Alex has to be ready to go.
I definitely don't see this as a Troy Smith situation, this guy was groomed as the franchise QB.
But still, can only put so much into 2 games, backup QB's usually play well early on.

There is no other accepted ending to this season.
That's just the reality, this team is better than 2011 with more weapons on offense and all the players are in their 2nd year under Harbaugh.
2 botched punts from a SB, we better be in that fukking game this year. I was SB or Bust already this year, but now even more so.
