bears defense in the cut..... its a scary sight

thats why when backup qbs come in they look great but when a team has time to prepare most of time it will be bad
True, but on the flipside, he also did not prepare or have the coaching staff game plan for him either. It goes both ways.
Kaep will probably struggle against the bears...but he's got some things going for him that will help him. He's elusive, can extend plays and has a cannon for an arm.
I think all of our QBs will struggle against Chicago.

unless cutler makes unforced mistakes handing the game over, I think kaep might be a better play in this particular game. bears are stingy on the run and are pretty damn good in coverage as well...as alex plays safe, not sure we will get stuff done with him. at best its a very close game and we make less mistakes.

Why, Kaep didn't play that good. His legs let him make some plays but he missed far more plays than he made.
If anything I think this game solidified the fact Alex is the best option
The Bears defense would devour Kaep, when you watch that game the main reason Kaep was effective because St. Louis didn't spy him or try and keep him from running, if you do that he`d be fukked.
He had a hard time finding receivers and he wasn't the most accurate when he did
if Cutler doesn't play, I like our chances with Kaep. If Alex goes, I think we definitely win.
Yet, you laugh at Bears fans who say this about Cutler not coming back against the Texans.

I'm calling shennanigans. The first 2 drives of the first half, I agree with you..but the second half he owned. I don't think he really "missed" anything in the second half.
If we have to go with Kaep, we'll be fine. His running ability gives us an added bonus. Let's not forget, WE'RE A RUNNING TEAM. We'll rely on the O Line and Frank to move the sticks and hopefully get us in 3rd and manageables.
