We're 6-2 and he's not getting the ball because the opportunities ain't there, but when they are he can still make pays, I feel like down the stretch he's gonna show up a lot more

Brehs we need to lock up Goldson. Wasn't it PFT or Grant Cohn that said he was the weakest link last year?
So what bad thing or criticism does any of yall have for Alex The Great again this week!![]()

I don't get why are some of you so defensive about Alex. He is what he is and we will win most games if he doesn't makes mistakes but god forbid someone talks about his limitations
Navorro is the priority. Then we'll probably have to choose between Hawk and Crabs.
Thing is after last year, and obvious improved play this year, why do we highlight these limitations?
Why are they seen as limitations still? It's almost like people are dead set on the thought that he can't possibly get better and improve.
yeah but in fairness it seems like you are dead set on the thought that his obvious flaws aren't worth discussing. Most likely Alex is gonna be the player who determines how far we go so his play is going to be the most scrutinized. Basically the reason his limitations are highlighted is because they very well could be the cause for our season ending before February. Nah meeeeean?
That said, Alex is my QB. Dont mean Im not gonna go ape shyt the next time he has a horrible game complete with half-assed scrambles that amount to nothing and Sanchez-esque 5 yard checkdowns on 3rd & 15.
Does one average year earn him the right to be criticized less? Its not like we're here complaining about Patrick Willis or nitpicking on some elite player. Its Alex fukking Smith.
watching this offensive run line block is like watching poetry in motion
goldson is playing better this year but Im still skeptical on his coverage. hes a deadly hitter but hes not the most intuitive guy when it comes to coverage
on other hand I dont see many young safeties besides earl thomas who are good in coverage so itll be tough to find one like that...
im for resigning him, but not if it means no bowman. id take 'vorro over dashon long term
