FANG isn't great but there's hidden value in playing obscure characters that are extremely unpopular. Increases the chances that your opponent doesn't know the match that well, if at all.
You would probably do worse when playing a high tiered, but popular, character like Cammy or Guile, not better.

I feel your pain breh but I'm trying to be as neutral and fair as possible.
There were some nights where some brehs were available and others weren't. And like me and @JoeyTones discussed its hard to determine who's actually a no show (unless its blatantly obvious) when brehs must set up their matches themselves when their schedules allow. So giving the brehs who attempted to compete but couldnt complete their matches a TIE seems like a fair solution.
