So what will you do to bring change? Cry on the Coli?

I'd rather cry on the Coli than be a bootlicker in real life. :manny:

Should American Capitalism be completely abolished, and America enter a new era under a system of American Socialism (the definition of this TBD)? You think you will be able to 'vote' your way into this?

Do you think that the inequality of wealth in this country is because people are 'lazy' ?? Are you that dense? Serious question.

Your quote of me doesn't even contain the words 'lazy' in it. No wonder you're a bum.

The first bold part is an opinion. That's all that is, and you're entitled to it.

The second is another opinion. And a shytty one at that.

Opinions. That's all that is.

Actually it's not a shytty opinion. Real jobs give you real life experience, discipline, and molds your character to that of a better person. A burger flipper will never get the same respect of men who are in high paid positions, have their own business, or are upper managers.

If you wanna work at WacArnold's, have at it:yeshrug:

I'm not saying that, I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of people moving away from blue states to red states. Democrats try to help, but as soon as living costs go up to pay for those things folks move. :manny:

"blue states to red states" .. No. They're moving to Texas, Florida and Nevada because they're dodging state taxes.

At what point in American history were parents sending their kids to college as Part Time cashiers at Micky Ds?

Again.. putting words into our mouths. WHO said anything about sending kids to college as a cashier at McKie D's? Im talking housing and food. You wanna go to college and you dont have much money, then that Pell Grant comes in handy. Student loans etc.

You haven't answered my question. How do these places operate when children and young adults are in school?

Should people not be compensated for their work, especially if they are spending a lot of their time with that company?

Retired folks & people who need temporary positions to get on their feet.

From what I see, there's never a shortage in retail for young folks:yeshrug:

These dudes are too dense to have this convo.

The issue America is facing isn't Fast Food jobs not paying 'livable' wage. Its America has been void of an internal industry to produce a wide number of middle class jobs since production jobs have all been shipped overseas and automated. America needs new industry to put people to work. You cant repurpose low wage roles to do this because it doesn't make sense in the system of Capitalism these same folks crying love. Most these dudes crying shop at Wal Mart and dont even support small businesses that pay people fairly.

First, I guarantee you wouldn't call me a bum to my face. Secondly, I'm not in any of these situations. I have a career and I'm good. Except I have empathy and I see that people are struggling out there. And I'm not gonna sit here and tell them how shytty of people they are because they aint got it together.

If you got your shyt together, cool. Congrats. Dont be a dikk and put the next man down becuase he aint where he wants to be. Or maybe he is where he wants to be, and he's comfortable.

So we should do away with public schools, fire stations, police stations and libraries, right? Is that what you're saying?

Breh....citizens pay taxes to fund those services and to be more to the point. For example there is a stark contrast between inner city and suburban school districts. If these services were truly a Socialist approach, parents could send their children anywhere to learn as the education would be completely equal (which it isn't) and that is why Redlining is a huge problem in this country....

To tie this back to the main topic, better jobs bring up median income for a district, thus in turn bring better and more reliable services through greater tax revenue...

Can't generate a strong tax base with retail jobs as those incomes are augmented with AH, WIC, etc...

So red states dont have public schools? Fire stations? Police Stations? Make some sense fam. And HOW do these red states stay functioning? By blue state federal funding. :shaq2:

So call yourself non social, but accept federal funding year in and year out brehs.

At want point of American history were Part Time Micky D's workers buying homes?

Who's talking about buying a home? :ld: You're going to extremes. I'm talking about people being able to live of their work wages. Apartments and affordable living arrangements.

At what point in time in history did people depend on fast food and retail jobs to pay rent and buy food to support an entire family?
