How much of his memory/ brain power did he retain?
He recognizes people he knows, he can converse a little bit like if you ask him how he is. He knows to go use the restroom but you have to tell him to shower and brush his teeth. Other than that, he doesn’t know what year, day, month it is, doesn’t know his birthday or how old he is. You have to direct him to do basic things, has bouts of mania, psychosis, and anger. He’s progressed but he’s far from being normal.

The flip side of that is their “consciousness” doesn’t exist anymore so they wouldn’t feel anything. I’d imagine that’s as painless as you can get.
Yea but you the person with consciousness won’t be able to remove that from your being so having to watch them wither away will eat you alive.

A way to rationalize it is like a living corpse. The actual person is long gone, their soul is gone, only their body is alive. It seems like it would be one of those things that you would have to face right away, just due to the emotions of all of it.

Prolonging it could def lead to a host of mental anguish just due to the inability to accept the fact that they are dead, but their body is still functioning. In this society, that just isn't something that you ever have to think about or rationalize with unless it happens to you.

very few Rappers were as elite as prime X circa 1998

he'd make the simplest lines sound epic just by his delivery

Think the first time I heard him was his verse on Money Power Respect

I WAS LIKE WHO THIS NIKKA?

:dahell:

I'm legit tearing up listening to this, Money, Power, Respect was the first time I heard DMX too. I remember getting the Get At Me Dog single before X dropped the LP. He had a whole different energy to any one who had come before or since. :mjcry:
