(my stepfather trying to propose to his new chick at the funeral:beli:).

My dad was trying to marry a woman months after my mom passed and invited me to the wedding. They were separated for years, but damn bro the optics ain't hot.

The woman's husband had also died that same year. Folks can't even wait a year after?

My bad, had to vent that out.

Nah its all good. I look at it as a sign of character. Love was never there if you can't just fully heal after the death of your spouse. Sure, it's good to move on but breh :dwillhuh:...take a minute to live before you jump into another situation. Marriage is sacred but it's not treated like such, especially nowadays.

Now my stepfather on the other hand was always a despicable piece of shyt. I could go into a long session, but its not really welcomed in a thread concerning X. Lets just say that I beat him at his own game:

  • Being a better father
  • Being a better husband
  • Being a better writer

:francis:I know folks going to take this the wrong way but fukk it. X is gone, but we as people on this earth refuse to let him fly. Even if there was a miracle, dude is not going to be the same anymore. It would be a pain to see this man gone and being fed through tubes and shyt, versus his spirit being with us forever. It seems crazy selfish to keep this situation going....

Story time:

This is coming from a breh who had to hear his own mother was in hospice. Unable to breathe on her own and doctors going :manny:now or never.

My brother and I sadly had a falling out from it because I knew it was time for her to go, but sadly she was surrounded with family that could give a shyt about her breathing, along with my stepdad pulling the plug. I always looked at that moment as my mother protecting my sister and I from the foolishness that came with that whole ordeal because the funeral was a fukking mess (my stepfather trying to propose to his new chick at the funeral:beli:).

Call me cynical, negged me if you will, and so forth but I would rather see X at peace, than folks that either enable him and fake folks giving him his flowers, when he needed a hug during his dark times (no pun).
Sadly his kids and family will keep him alive for as long as possible to leech off the crumbs of what's left of his estate in lengthy court battles. I doubt he ever signed a will.

Going to be a very sad time, might even last years.

Most people have no idea what toll it takes on the person (& loved ones) when someone becomes disabled.

As a nurse I've seen families readmit their loved ones because they couldn't take care of them in their home.

Not to mention, most people don't wanna live such a dependant/compromised life.

Hope his family finds peace with whatever decisions they make.
