Bro me and my cousins begged our moms for the dog collar goggles and get at me dog jumper. We was barking and everything. Freshman year of college he came to subr and I lost my voice damn near performing word for word
Hell yea bro I used to do the bark too. I was 7 years old begging my mom to let me see Cradle 2 The Grave. She never let me watch it. I remember being so upset that she kept me from it but once I saw it in college I understood why
:pachaha:

Had Def Jam Vendetta after it came out on GameCube and I would always pick X if I didn't use the story mode character

One of my biggest regrets in life is not seeing him live in concert. No matter where he performed, he always brought that passion and energy. Even when he recited that poem on Def Poetry Jam you could genuinely feel what he was saying

That's what separates X from everyone else. His ability to evoke those emotions from the listener is second to none outside of Pac. One of the greatest artists to ever grace the mic

Fortunately I got to see him in his prime multiple times.

I have some great memories of blasting IDAHIH & FOMFBOMB on my commutes & walks around the city, no matter what happens I'm gonna continue to have many more.

Feel blessed that I got to see him perform in person, one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Same, saw him at his height on the hard knock life tour, he tore it down. Didn’t even GAF what Jay was gonna do as the closer, tho he was dope too, but X was a whole other level

Dmx was just the right energy the rap game needed. Raw and passionate about the art. I’m honored to have seen him perform. Hopefully he pulls through. Praying for my man X.

Have you ever seen a nikka shift the energy of an entire genre? I can't credit X for all of it because that would be a disservice to Camron, Nore, Pun, Canibus and The L.O.X. And I won't say X was the tip of the spear because he was much more than that. X was the warhead. Any nikka that says anything less is lying. I seen it.

These new nikkas be talking about so & so is great, and so & so is hot. I want to run up on them like Denzel in Equalizer 2.

Get in their face and tell them that they don't know what hot is! They don't know what hot is! Hot is Snoop in 93, hot is Big in 95, hot is Dmx in 98. They don't know what hot is. That's greatness.
