Even I was too young to really feel the effect of Pac’s death all I remember is it was surreal because he was like a superhero. It’s interesting because the more I’ve returned to his music the more I feel it’s appropriate to say X was Pac’s unofficial successor and I only say unofficial because he made his own way and was clearly his own man and phenomena. But no one brought that much gritty raw honesty since Pac. His legacy was paradigm defining and gave real street shyt it’s second wind after 96/97.

Bruh you not wrong I always felt like that . In fact I think everybody felt like that.

Here I am a grown man being brought back to to the same place I was at when I was 11 yrs old when Pac passed after spending all them days hoping and praying. Same shyt.

I dun cried like 7 times already. shyt is fukkin my mind right now, I'm too blown.

It hurts because X is one of those people whose interviews and music I could rely on to keep me anchored

Always looked at bruh like a big brother I never met.

I just wasnt ready to hear this shyt being said out loud yet. Just to even mention X in the past tense having a RIP attached his name . This shyt got me sick right now.

Alot of people I know who don't even fukk with rap love X man

It’s crazy ain’t it? Through the years, and even now that he’s passed.. you got figures like Bono, Dionne Warwick, Elton John, Marylin Manson, Rock bands, country stars, Soap Opera actors, Main stream A listers.. ALL of them had love for the dog.

He was special. God put that man on this earth for a reason. He wasn’t perfect, but none of us are. And his impact can’t be denied. I’m walking proof.

I'm About to go exercise and idk if I want to listen to his music like I usually do. Everytime I workout. I play some X:mjcry:

Gonna prolly take me a while to want to listen to his music again. Rn I can't muster to play it like I do every other day

hard to believe X is gone now
Drinking my pre-workout bout to go blast X in the gym. :to:

Me too breh. I’m happy I gave him his flowers while alive.

Still can’t believe this shyt.

Me too. I was in the top 0.01% of Spotify listeners for X in 2020... been listening to his music since I was 9 years old and I'll be 33 this year... been the best since I first heard Get At me Dog and I've had to argue with many nikkas about top lists lmao. And I loved every minute of it. Truly the best I've ever heard
