“It’s dark...” is literally the first album I purchased myself and fell in love with. 8th grade trip to D.C. bought it to listen on the bus. I had to listen to that album all the way through like 30 times on the way there and back.

Got back and that’s all me and my boys would listen to. Used to act out the intro and the Mickey skit. Barking at each other and shyt lol.

I remember being so excited for Flesh of my flesh I begged my mom to take me to the mall to get it.

We listened to it on the way home and my moms reaction was everything from being mad at me for buying that filth to being impressed and in awe at his realness and vulnerability on the tracks. First she was gonna take it from me but we got to “ready to meet him” and we were both speechless. Me and my mom bonded over a DMX album. Crazy memories man.

Been listening to X pretty much every day since then.

Still hoping for a miracle:mjcry:

Reading the reactions during this last 6 days about X and how much people are really into this, makes me think in how it going to be with Pac if the social media was that big at the time.

Dude was on top of the game and doing movies left and right.

The amount of love X is getting, is great to see. Wish he can see all of this :mjcry:
