These 6 days went by quick

Old heads who remember Pac being in the hospital, did those 7 days fly by quick or did it feel like time stopped?

This feels really similar to me. Only difference is more access to updates. I remember listening to the radio on the way to school to hear updates, but was definitely shocked when he passed. I remember it was a Friday and I heard the news on the radio. But other than getting constant information, it feels very similar.

Proud to say I’ve had my copy since way back when. Need to go back and read again.
I heard about this book for years but never read it. I was actually looking on Amazon for the ebook, but it wasn’t available. I was able to find a PDF on library genesis for free, but I’m gonna purchase the actual ebook. Thanks for the link.

Edit: it’s the same damn PDF I downloaded. I need a refund

Views From The X
Another one of my personal favorite X verses. A lowkey one too, lotta nikkas wasn't up on this song til Cassidy flipped it a couple years later :whew:

If everyone else had my eyes
Then, who I am wouldn't be a surprise
Just because I'm locked up don't mean I'm fukked up in the game
Just a victim of the dirt they trying to throw on my name
Get arrested, but getting arrested don't make me guilty
But by the time I make it to court the media done killed me
Gotta good heart but we all do wrong
I really mean well but I'm going too strong
You say I'm rehabilitated but I still can't vote
You say I paid my debt but I still can't vote
Gotta pay taxes but I still can't vote
Come on dawg, y'all stay trying to keep a nikka broke
You just as crooked as us, fukk you trying to say
Cause once I pay that dough, the charges go away
Forget about it, it's okay
Cause I'ma walk over here and let the Lord pave my way, aight

I remember my mom and her friends actually going on a trip to lasVegas the day after 2pac got shot. I was young at the time (9 years old) and I remember people being optimistic that he would make it. A few days later we hear the announcement on 92.3 the beat. They start playing life goes on. My father goes to the wherehouse music store to buy all eyez on me but it was sold out. He came back with the me against the world album. Before that my mom just had a bunch of 2pac singles. I remember always listening to the cassette single of How do you want it/California love. The anticipation for makavelli was something else. I used to record songs from the radio. I remember being so excited about recording "Pour out a little liquor" in whole :wow:Also I grew up in Compton, so the word about Orlando was swirling. My elementary school was actually in south side crip territory. Very interesting. He didn't live too far from there. It was a war in Compton.
Iv always wondered if yall knew that a new pac album (Makaveli) would be released so soon :jbhmm:

Californ-i-a by way of BK
I can post underrated X songs all day. Here’s another one. It was supposed to be on his first album. They played a snippet of it during a skit on Flesh of My Flesh but it never came out on any of his albums.

“My nikka T.P. creep with me, frequently
Two deep with me, secretly, evilly
Problem solved, shyt resolved, next issue
Baby nine on the ankle, in case the Tecs miss you”

“Who gonna pay respects, when you laying in that box
Playing with The L.O.X? DMX will spray the spot
That'll make it hot, I torch when I touch
Let me loose, your arm is coming off when I bust
Dusk after Dusk, you going out the way you came in
And you must've flipped once the way you was layin”
