I really like how they made Las Plagas feel way less video gamey. It felt like genuine Resident Evil versus the old game of it being more of a cop out and Plagas just being a magic plot device that can make whatever ridiculous enemy. It still is, but it feels wayyyy more structured.

They legitimately made the Plagas way more terrifying. Really improved lore on the Plagas. Stealing the Jurassic Park amber thing was smooth.

The revamp Saddler boss fight was a real spectacle.

Nostalgia is hell of a drug. I play RE4 last year. Inferior in every facet to the remake.

Game was amazing. Idk which one I like more between this and RE2 Remake.

I love the fast paced action and combat in 4 in this but I like the puzzles and backtracking in 2. 2 was also way scarier and I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. When I first played RE2 I dropped that shyt for a few months when Mr. X showed up.

Crazy that my first experience with this game is the remake. I love this game just beat it again on Hardcore. Its just a really fun and polished game. I haven’t played many of the Resident Evil games just this 7 and RE4 remake. I love the ALIENS influence on this game intense action but still find spots to inject horror in highly pressurized situations ( The Verdugo, Ramon Salazar, Mendez, The Regenerater encounters.
