Yoooo there are people online complaining about the puzzles man...:bryan::laff:
They can go do the Onimusha puzzles where they have 60 second timer with water filling a room and if you don't solve it soon enough you have to revert back to your last save....not the last checkpoint....the last save.

You're a real nikka for that.:salute:

Sounds like hardcore mode; some nikkas aren't built for it.:wow:
That shyt was way harder than I anticipated. I'm thinking "Oh I need to use Ink ribbons? Cool that's normal. Harder enemies? Ehh they're zombies, no sweat :win:"

Suddenly you reach a part where you have like 3 shotgun shells, no handgun bullets and your inventory is full from carrying a key item that you're not sure when or where you'll use it. Hell, even finding new items is something you shouldn't haphazardly pick up on sight as you might pick up a flash bang or grenade and turn around and now you see some Magnum ammo or diamond key that you needed to open a door that you past earlier(that has a licker slithering around). :skip:

Yes, theres literally a note in the game either on the 2nd floor or the 3rd floor by the room where you use the c4 that states just walk pass them
Yeah. They explain that lickers are completely blind but have excellent hearing.
Just look at a licker. It doesn't even have eyes. It's just an exposed brain and a huge mouth.

Ok so I started another hardcore game with Leon’s 1st scenario last night. I’m going for the S+ this time. The hardest part of the game is getting the electrical parts to leave the station because you gotta plan your routes, manage 10 inventory spaces while dealing with the zombies, lickers and Mr. X. Plus since it’s Leon, I went back to the S.T.A.R.S. Office for the Hawk. X chased me but I stunned that bytch and walked by on some :youngsabo:.

Anyway I used 2 saves so far so I can only save the game one more time. Got 77 minutes to complete the game and I saved right before the mini boss fight in the sewer. I can get out of the sewer in 25 minutes or so.

Yeah some of the invisible boundaries are funny.
I ran away from the licker and the door was wide open but he couldn't go through it.
Same thing with the section where you run into the pack of dogs for the first time.
The game wants you to run away helplessly. You don't have any where near enough ammo to fight even half of the enemies the game throws at you.
I actually had to cheese out on the 2F licker in the hallway outside of the S.T.A.R.S. office. I went into the room with the medallion and just stood in the doorway hitting it with shotgun shells. Every time it lunged at me I just backed away from the door and repeated.

I was specific with what I wanted.
I specifically said I don't mind taking a minute to solve puzzles and sections.
I've bigged this game up non-stop. I haven't been completely lost or wasted any time in this game yet. The sections aren't that big to begin with so far...But I can see and agree with why someone else would feel that way because I've experienced it before to a bigger extent in other games.
The map in this game is actually incredibly useful. It tells you with icons the locations of everything you've discovered, so there's never an instance of "now I found this handle, where the hell was that room with the pipes again!?"
What this game does wrong though, is not giving you the ability to damage enemies at all times.
I understand they chose to make the knife break to limit the amount of counter attacks you have but to me, that decision was bad.
They should have done like the RE1 remake and limit the amount of counter items but keep the knife as a permanent option to do a least SOME damage to enemies.
That way, if you DO run out of ammo for whatever reason, you always have a way to move forward.
Yeah I don't like the fact that you can't damage some enemies without an in-game event occurring. That shyt is annoying as fukk.

At the very least they do give you the infinite durability knife but I suspect it still has to be retrieved after a counter attack.

Were the pre-order bonuses worth it? I pre-ordered though BBY at a store I thought I'd pick it up at but it's far from my house and haven't been able to go get it. They emailed me saying to pick it up or cancel the order, it's too far out of the way.
They haven't seen the bonus codes yet until I pick up the game...it's a long dirve out of my way..:mjcry:
