This board really doesn't compare in terms of quality discussion and traffic, at all. The big AAA hitters will get a stickied thread with some activity, but everything else dies off after a day or so. Random indie games and LTTP threads revisiting older games get hundreds of replies. We're just not as enthusiastic or passionate about games here.

Thats just because there isn’t enough traffic here to support all those niche games, even if you compare era which is a video game dedicated forum they have twice the number of members, that signed up mostly for video game discussion. While the Arcadium is one of the least busy sections here.

It really has nothing to do with quality discussion its just about numbers. There are plenty of indie games or smaller games on Era that will only have a page or two of discussion also, a lot of them don’t care that much about indies or smaller games either, relative to their size.

I went to look to see if they had a discussion on ‘Season’ there and the thread has like one page and most of them are just a few people posting reviews. If you want to talk about particular games you gotta go to reddit

He didn’t start giving long detailed explanations until he saw folks were half a second from jumping ship. He started backpedaling like a mofo then. But as soon as people left he went back to “fukk y’all”.

What I didn’t realize at that point was all the people who made NeoGAF such a pain in the ass to navigate safely were going to be the leadership at Era.
