Yup. I literally stopped visiting it a few years ago since I felt it annoyed me far more often than informed me. I stick to Reddit gaming leaks, here and sometimes GAF gaming section for quick gaming news.

I mean obviously. Outside of this drama, it’s pretty easy to avoid Era itself. Even now, you don’t have to actually read the site. The discussion is more about the complete downwards spiral the site is taking. Again, none of this requires anyone to visit the site.

That place isn't a forum as much as it's a safe space echo chamber for a certain type of person. There has never been open discussion there.
You're looking at that place thinking it's something it's not and never was. At the end of it all though it's a private site. If the people in control say don't post about something then it is what it is. If their members want a different result then like Neo GAF before it they need to migrate somewhere else.
