The way they handled it is shyt. It gives the impression that they don't really care and are only scrambling to keep another community from leaving the forum. As far as FF7r, TLOU and Gears are concerned, I've seen threads on that subject from other Black posters, but never any calls for removing discussing them completely. I don't believe that's going to happen with Cyberpunk, either.

I mean, I still read it sometimes. It's good to not have to wade through a bunch of homophobic/transphobic/racist bullshyt just to read some game news.

Dismissing other groups concerns over misrepresentation isn't something we should do. Just because you're personally fine with it doesn't mean the next person is or should be.

This is the result of demanding that people who aren't you be inclusive to you. You end up with tone deaf stuff like this. At some point if you're part of a minority group you just kinda have to come to terms with the fact that it's highly likely that none of you were in the room when when whatever "representation" of you was made.

CDPR would have been better just not being inclusive here. Doing stuff like this just has the opposite effect.
