NINE fukkING LOSSES. :dead:

Nah the shyt about the lack of debate and the use of unanimous consent to push through bills that ppl don’t read/don’t even be on the floor for I agree with .

I probably wouldn’t support a lot of the shyt he would want to make happen but those rules should be 100% implemented regardless of party .

Don’t see how ppl could disagree with that outside of partisanship because a Republican is the one saying it :yeshrug:

It's a case of something that sounds good, until you actually give it more than a passing thought.

Some of those bills that got passed that people didn't read are one they refused to read in the first place, due to partisanship. Others were ones they weren't on the floor for because they chose not to be there for a variety of reasons. There are tons of performative cases of representatives not even showing up to vote because they were "making a statement", knowing good and damn well it's just putting spin on a vote they were going to lose in the first place. There are also cases where they weren't there to vote because they were tending to duties from committee assignments. And besides, i believe they're able to vote remotely if so inclined, so it's not like they physically need to be there to vote yes or no.

Single purpose bill votes aren't a thing almost entirely because of the bullshyt we've been watching for the last few days. This is effectively a single issue vote, and the party that hass the majority can't figure out how to agree with itself, let alone the other party.

It plays into the issue that a lot of these newer folks don't actually know how to do what they got elected to do.
