Haitian people are so creative. I swear we make a song about anything . :russ: In Okap in the protest they made a song already "La polis te la yo touye Jovnel!" basically they blame the police for his death. It was very catchy I have to say :ehh: we are a very creative people. Haitian protestors know how to make catchy songs and phrases. shyt this goes back to the Haitian revolution. "Grenadier alaso sa ki mouri zafè a yo."

Always amazes me how they turned that old Dp express song into “ yo ba nou kou a. Kou a fè nou mal oh” song they sing at every protest . I can’t remember the title of the original song but I’ll look it up .

God forbid they start singing that “fey” song from RAM. The part part that goes “ papa bondye oh!/Sen Nikola eeehh/ Yon sèl pitit gasonm lan ohhh/ Yo fè l kite peyi a lj ale"

The song was originally by RAM and that part was about Aristide being exiled.

shyt be like :blessed:

Above the fray.
I'm not a song and dance guy, but I read the story about this vigil and it made me aware of more of the organizations that exist out here. Once the praying and singing are over, we're gonna have to get to work even more to try to improve conditions. Gonna track and follow what these groups are doing.

Or just speak in creole :russ:

I noticed we can speak freely on social media in our native language & never get flagged/banned anywhere

It's a trap. Big brother sees everything. When/if something happens, they will pull everything up and have the court translators in there transcribing everything.

Some of the vagabons who were deported found this out the hard way.

President Jovenel planned a constitutional referendum this past June which was postponed to September.
One of the proposed changes to the constitution was allowing Haitian citizens with dual nationality to run for, or serve in, high office, including president.

That's a bad idea that sounds like a good idea. Honestly.

Has anyone here posted the press conference from last week where a US govt representative admitted the assassins received training paid for by the DOD at Ft. Polk?
