This is why I'm against interracial relationships. Only Black people with power allowed outsiders to marry their daughters. This is classical Chancellor Williams Destruction of Black Civilization at play. You have nikkaz all over the internet fighting to marry everyone but another Black person. Other groups do everything in there power to stop the women in there group from getting friendly with Black men.

Within the first minute of the video, the host glosses over/simplifies the central issue before the assassination.
If the vid is to inform outsiders about the issue, he owes them more than just saying "Moise' term was finished, and he didn't want to leave"
For the past two years, both sides were disputing what the actual dates of his term were.
Maybe in the part 2 of the interview he has planned he'll go further into it.

The story is complicated, and we won't get a clear picture of what happened for months. The press doesn't exist in Haiti, the way it does here. Information is passed along by....
"They said" "I heard". And that's under normal circumstances. Imagine now.
Spoke to uncles from different sides of my family, one who lives in Haiti. Heard different accounts.
They both said that many people involved are using "blame the rich families" as camouflage , which is what I suspected immediately.
Right now, the Miami Herald is probably the best source for actual reporting about the story.

President Jovenel planned a constitutional referendum this past June which was postponed to September.
One of the proposed changes to the constitution was allowing Haitian citizens with dual nationality to run for, or serve in, high office, including president.
