I think is a good deal because Gasol doesn't fit with the Lakers. He doesn't have any chemistry with Kobe. Moreover, Nash is going to need to quality more shooters to be effective in the Lakers' offense.

Might be the worst post this month.

josh smith winding up to shoot (and most of the time brick) a long range jumper is one of the most painful things to watch in sports. if he goes to LA he'll just be a scapegoat and when they fail, laker fans will be wanting to ship him to minnesota for kevin love. then when love comes to the lakers via a lopsided trade and they still fail, they'll be wanting to ship him out for the next hottest big man. rinse, wash, repeat

Bron playing with 3 hall of famers just like Bean is. Shut yo dumb ass up

who was the best player lebron had ever played with before going to miami? mo williams?:heh:

How do they have no chemistry and they won 2 titles together? :comeon:

+ 3 str8 finals.

Pau's problem is that he is too far away from the basket and not enough room in the post.

Might be the worst post this month.

ESPN.com's Marc Stein writes: "Sources say that the Hawks, at present, have no interest in parting with Josh Smith and Kyle Korver for Gasol. Or even Smith and lesser parts for Gasol. Positions can obviously change between now and the Feb. 21 trade deadline, but sources maintain that Atlanta has not been enticed in the least by the prospect of parting with the 26-year-old Smith -- even as he heads into unrestricted free agency -- for the 32-year-old Gasol. The Hawks, for the record, have also been telling interested teams that they value Smith and what he offers as a hybrid forward in an Eastern Conference that's generally been getting smaller."

Josh Smith may be athletic, a great finisher, a shot blocker and good defender but he's also very low IQ on offense, chucks too many long jumpers when he isn't a shooter, and just leaves you shaking your head at some of his decisions despite his talents

Pau may not be athletic but he is much more highly skilled than J-Smoove, much better shooter from 15 feet, much higher IQ on the offensive end.

I don't get how Pau doesn't fit in D'Antoni's offense, I think he's going to be a big beneficiary of it because he is versatile and when Howard is resting, Pau is playing C
