warriors are being cheap trying to lowball dude. the market has already been set. plus SG's are an extreme commodity in the NBA today. they must really think he gonna take a steph contract.

They'll give it to him at the last minute before the Halloween deadline. We're going to be in the lux tax next year regardless. We won't be in the repeater lux tax the year after so he's about to get his max.

Bledsoe wasn't getting the max regardless, Monroe doesn't play defense so he wasn't getting cashed out like he thought he should. I don't know why Pekovic wasn't coveted but Klay is an elite shooter and elite defender. How many players in the league are elite at shooting and defense? Dude is rare and will get the max.

I'm not arguing whether or not he's a max player. but the warriors will have to give him max money since the market was set with the hayward/parsons deals.

Oakland has never been a premier market for stars. Which is why we had to overpay for David Lee and Iggy, we got lucky with Curry and them Mr. Glass ankles which is why he's on such a great deal. Who is the last marquee player that actually came to Oakland instead of leaving? Until recently we were a training ground for all-stars.
