It’s funny how Sam Darnold was the THIRD pick, and was pretty mediocre and even showed regression to the point he was let go and ended up on two different teams before landing with a QB friendly team in Minnesota. He has one good season (year 7) and now everyone is salivating over him.

Justin Fields had a horrible rookie season, but his second season was better despite his record and not having a single offensive weapon of note. Third season was even better than that, and after being let go from the Bears, he starts 4-2 with the Steelers. All I know is he almost broke the QB rushing record in year 2, and he does have a good deep ball. So after 4 seasons, he can’t be given a chance at all?

Steelers need a complete overhaul of their offense, I don’t think bringing in another QB would fix their problems (outside of maybe 5-6 QBs in the league)

Bortles was the reason the team started to break up due to him getting a pay day..

We all knew Bortles couldn't really throw lol. and it was rumored that he wasn't heavy on film like the greats usually are... That being said, I appreciated Bortles.

Trevor's arm is crazy... IMO Doug's Offense aged it's way out of the NFL. Teams would just sit in some type of Cover 2 and dare us to run the ball... and our softass Oline was always exposed.

Rooney’s are cheap and stuck in there 1970’s nostalgic ways of running the organization so this team will be stuck in purgatory for the next decade. Highest paid defense in the nfl but won’t pay any offensive talent.

Did you see Jalen Hurts as a guy you could win a SB with recently? Fields has a similar game and PHI just showed us that you can win with that arch-type of QB

Jalen also has better coaching, a top 3 offensive line, 2 great receivers and the best running back in the nfl. Fields is nowhere near the player hurts is especially as a pocket passer.
