The idea of moving across the country for school or a job is rare. Leaving their home country is usually the main move for them.

That's not really what I'm saying but you're free to interrupt it that way. I'm really saying that i went to school with a lot of hispanics. Most of my classes were with hispanics and white people. So the notion of hispanics not going to school needs to change when Universities out here have 25000+ students and almost half of the overall population is hispanic. That myth needs to be deaded. These folks generally had less education and worked in lower-paying jobs. This allows them to secure higher earning positions.

For the time being the trajectory is going up. There's a lot more effort and awareness in the Hispanic community to invest in higher education. I see institutions reaching out to their community all the time now. The state of California where many Hispanic graduates originate from, is also making it easier for residents to attend higher education platforms. Many community colleges are free and there's a push towards making the CSU's tuition free.

Honestly I need to go back and look into what caused the decline african americans pursing education heavily man. I look at these stats a lot and just smh.

But then again, I remember going to college, looking around and rarely seeing any black people in the my classes unless it was an elective African studies class and even then, the non black kids on average did better and took the class more seriously than the black kids. This is all anecdotal from experience out here.
