Truthfully, the act of claiming to be for something without works is foolish and ignorant. Regardless of if you don't vote, inaction is still an action and there will be repercussions to be had either way. There isn't even an effort to put an onus on one party. It's the Democrats fault.
Case in point, there were 30 million eligible Black voters in 2020. Biden won 87% of our vote. Entertain for a second, every eligible voter that's black voted in 2020. That's 26 million as a high point. Biden had 81 million votes in total. We weren't even a third of their vote and financially, we represent much less. Allowing a republican in office is just a multiplier for sliding back policies via the courts. We may never see reparations in our lifetimes but the fight doesn't stop so that it may in our kids or their kids lives. Incremental progress has to be made. The world's richest man is a bigot and regularly spews and retweets racially incorrect and inflammatory things on his platform. The largest political news network in the country has armed and harmed most of America with disinformation for the better part of 30 years now.
Most of the Democrats that aren't black will be fine either way, Dem or GOP in office. It's us that isn't the case. Sad state of affairs, sure but to look at life any other way is to not take an accurate account of what is happening in this county and this world. Authoritarianism is on the rise, right-wing governments are on the rise. The Democratic Party, like it or not, are the last levee before all hell breaks loose in this country.
